Fasting done for body detox involves intake of different liquids. You can consume liquids in the form of soups and juices. Such fasting is generally referred to as ‘juice fasting’.

You should keep some important points in your mind, while you are detoxifying your body through “juice fasting”.

Firstly, you should use raw organic produce for making the detox juice. It is important that the fruits or vegetables you are using for making the juice are free from any harmful chemicals. You should also wash the vegetables and fruits properly before extracting their juice.

Secondly, always drink the detox drinks made by you just after you prepare them. Storing them may depreciate the enzymes and nutrients present in the juice.

Thirdly, you should also add mild exercises in to your routine, while you follow a body detox diet. Other than having these nutritious juices and soups, you should also drink at least 3lt of water every day. This will help you to avoid dehydration.

While you are breaking your fast after following the body detox plan for some time, you should break it in a slow way. You should proceed gradually while changing you food habit. Eat raw food and develop a habit of chewing your food properly. If you do not follow this instruction, you may suffer from digestive disorders and severe stomach aches.
