In the process of losing weight during menopause, women are advised to take a balanced diet with perfect calorie count as a little less will make them feel tired. At the same time, you are asked to avoid junk or high calorie foods. Try to eat more healthy foods which are rich in essential minerals and vitamins. A baked potato is more useful than a plate of French fries. Make your diet leaned more towards fruits, vegetables and food stuffs rich in fiber. You should take healthy fat from nuts, olives and peanut oils as it will not get deposited in your body.

At this age, always try to remain stress free as stress hormones released in sufficient quantities may add on more abdominal fat around the waist.
